I wanted to try and avoid using my same go to icons this year, I always seem to end up with the same four ever year which was butragueno, cannavaro,Mathias and either Socrates or Ronaldinho.I find most icons to be ok, butra is always my absolute favourite and think he’d suit this year even better. But I tried a few different ones this year, Hernandez and Stoichkov who were both good, Owen who was strangely superb but very inconsistent and linekar who I didn’t enjoy. Fifa is supposed to be fun and I picked this guy up for a great price of 685k on Xbox.

I only play div one rivals and WL as squad battles is just too boring for me, I’m a casual player, can’t skill and have rage issues lol, I enjoy how this fifa flows, defending is frustrating but for me it’s the most fun I’ve had in over 5 years and feels the closest to football I’ve played. So onto Sanchez, he can do it all but not everything perfectly, he can out muscle defenders even with 70 strength, lightning fast with a Hunter, moves well, tiny hint of clunky but not bad. His right foot isn’t perfect but 3* wf isn’t as bad as other FIFA’s. His shot power feels huge, but his left for strangely feels even better than messi, his link up play, movement and natural runs are great and he’s single handedly won games, first weekend took me to my best finish of 24 and 6, I acknowledge my strong team early on but my ability was only ever 20 wins normally. He’s really good fun to play with and for ability wise the price is good.

I can’t fault much except WF but that’s probably more down to me than him. Think there’s panic shooting with how easy blockings become. I’d put him at the maybe 2nd tier of what’s available right now, the added composure has really helped. Think after your R9 CR7 mbappe butra and Eusebio puskas and pele. He’d be right up there in the next tier, think there’s something special about icons again this year. Definitely worth a punt.

Meine erste Icon dieses Jahr. Letztes Jahr hatte ich nur Icons mit 5 Sterne Schwacher Fuß. Da mir das dieses Jahr aber nicht so wichtig erscheint und er ein Ruhe upgrade bekommen hat, wollte ich ihn mal testen. In dem Team habe ich ihn mit Lozano IF zusammen im Sturm gespielt.

Fangen wir mal mit dem "Schwierigkeiten" von ihm an. Im vergleich zu Spielern wie Hazard, Dybala und Gomez IF ist seine Ballführung nicht immer so, dass der Ball am Fuß klebt, aber an sich immer noch komplett ausreichend. Dazu kommen die 3 Sterne Schwacher Fuß, wobei die sich aber eher wie 4 anfühlen und er so gut wie alles auch damit reinhaut. Sowie 3 Sterne Skills, die für mich nicht so wichtig sind, um so weniger ich unnötig rumtricksen kann, umso besser.

Seine Stärken sind ganz klar sein Tempo und seine Verhältnismäßige Stärke dazu. Wenn er mal im laufduell mit einem Verteidiger ist, kann es auch gut mal sein, dass er diesen Wegdrückt oder er ihn gar nicht erst einholt. Auch doppelpässe kann man mit ihm super spielen, normalerweise gebe ich meinen Stürmern immer noch etwas für Passspiel, allerdings braucht Sanches das nicht. Er hat zwar sehr gute Kopfballwerte und wenn er dazu kommt, ist er auch sehr gut. Allerdings kommt er weger seiner größe nicht so oft zu so einer Chance. Zum Schluss kommen wir nochmal zu seinem Abschluss...und der ist, naja, sobald du im Strafraum den Ball auf dem linken Fuß hast. Drück einfach Schuss und der Ball wird drinne sein.

Wer eine "günstige" Icone spielen will, die sich auch sehr gut spielen lässt, dem kann ich Sanches nur ans Herz legen. Wer ein Op WL Team haben will, findet sicherlich günstigere Gold alternativen die noch einen Tick besser sein könnten.

During TOTY i opened 8 icon packs and this guy was one of them, when i got him i wasn't all that excited, I decided to try him out along side my baby Dalglish who i got from one of my other icon packs and i can comfortably say this guy is terrible, 3* 3* is one of the first thing that sticks out with his card and thats what makes him so terrible, he cant skill and he cant shoot on his right foot at all. His stats are meta but for me he is completely useless, his passing is useless unless its on his right foot, his shots feel lacklustre at times and his dribbling is bang average, he also got outpaced by defenders multiple times even thought he should have 99 pace.

I have more chance of scoring with Areola upfront than with this guy.

Steer clear.
